True Blood's Style Secrets

Postby PandaVamp on Mon Sep 07, 2009 9:00 pm

Hey, truebies. :D

Check out this recent interview to True Blood's costume designer: Audrey Fisher. It is short and very much worth reading (despite it comes from Mtv ;) ).

Alexander Skarsgard In A Dress, Anna Paquin's Sexier Look & More: We've Got 'True Blood' Style Secrets!

One thing we've always loved about Alan Ball's titillating tale of Bon Temps and its supernatural beings is the series' fine attention to detail—did you notice that clever "Sorry, We're Dead" sign hanging outside vampire Eric's Fangtasia bar last week? This keen eye extends to virtually every corner of HBO's drama, including its fierce fashions.

We got the chance to chat with "True Blood" costume designer Audrey Fisher who spilled on Alexander Skarsgård's cross-dressing moment, where she shops for the cast's fashions (hint: K-Mart!) and the inspiration for newcomer Evan Rachel Wood's '40s-glam look. Click on the link above to keep on reading.

True Blood counts, not only with a superbly talented ensemble cast, but with a great production team that works hard on all the details, just like they have stated on this article.

I always like reading and seeing stuff about these kind of things. Its the little things that are very important to a show and the characters.

I agree! :D

Considering you liked the interview, I think you might appreciate this one. An interview to Gary Calamar, the guy who's in charge of True Blood's music.

True Blood’s Music Supervisor Gary Calamar Talks ‘Bad Things,’ The Soundtrack, And The New Season

Is from June 11th, but still a nice read.

I love the costumes in TB. Sophie-ann's stuff is especially cool.
