Casting help?

Nope, not really, :P but Ausiello has just presented his own list of suggestions for one of next season's characters, and a poll to vote.

This oughta get the True Blood-thirsty among you salivating! Since Alan Ball has confirmed that season 3 will make an animal attraction of the werewolf Alcide (who debuted in the third Sookie novel, Club Dead), I thought I — and, in turn, you — should help the series’ busy, busy creator on his hunt for just the right actor to sink his teeth into the juicy part. My suggestions:...
Armchair Casting Director: 'True Blood' wolf hunt

Of the options given, I voted for Henry Cavill as an actor I can really see playing the part, the rest?... Nope, I don't think so.

At the end, I'm sure Alan Ball will choose a not-so-well-known but very good actor, that's what I look forward to.

What do you think? Do you have suggestions of your own?

Not being a TV lady, I know no one of the suggested actors.

So... er... hum... how about Orlando Bloom?

Ha! Nice one, Magic!... but too big (I mean, his name).

I truly don't know. First we need to know how does Charlaine Harris describe the character, but can't find it anywhere. For what I read through the comments there, he's olive skinned and young in appearance. :hmm:

Of course, Alan Ball and the casting people don't have to follow Harris' description. The most important thing here is the guy can act. Funnily enough, some in there thought being olive skinned is the same as being African-American. But maybe having another African-American character wouldn't be a bad idea, either.

I like the idea of Milla Jovovich for Debbie Pelt, judging from what I've read about her.
