I know a hell of a lot of other's aren't going to, well the ones that have already been complaining won't.

Dom's character (Simon) is flaming creepyyy.

I thought it was the weakest episode yet. I thought the show would get better after last week's episode and now with Dom but that wasn't the case.

My main problem is that nothing really happens. The story doesn't go forward at all.
The only good scene was when Lloyd, Olivia and Mark met in their house.

I think his character is like the worst ever...

It was an odd episode.

The scene with them all at the house at the end was good and we got our first look at the men in masks. I personally would have shot one of them :)

As we seem to have got confirmation that the whole blackout seems to have been some science experiment but to what purpose we don't know.

The episode had its moments, I really liked the scene with Lloyd, Mark and Olivia because you really could feel the tension. I still have to get used to Dom playing a bad guy but I did find his scenes pretty cool. But Janis' storyline was a bit disappointing, idem ditto for Demetri.
Also, am I the only one who just doesn't like the music in this show? Most of the time it feels completely wrong to me

Also: It wasn't really worth staying up for since it's now almost 3 pm and I've just woken up ;)

Yep I agree Hanna, the music is very off. I guess we've been very spoiled over the years with Lost's excellent music

I guess I'm in the minority but I love the music. Gives certain scenes a unique, stylish feeling that I can appreciate.

And how are we not getting "any answers"? We're 6 episodes in and we've already seen the structures and men responsible for it, and we're told that it was an "experiment".

6 episodes into LOST people were still wondering if there were gonna be dinosaurs.

I just finished watching, and for the record (With the record being the 1.05 thread)...

1) Music... Still sucks, and greatly out of context. What they heck are TPTB thinking?
2) Somalia... To reference my post from last week, I said that they would drag out actually going to Somalia for 2-3 more episodes. And, while I admit the characters may have had their hands full... IT"S THE "F.(Fricken)B.I." for Pete's sakes.. The entire F.B.I. of over 100,000 people and 100's of millions of dollars couldn't strip one agent away for a trip to Africa?... C'mon...
3) The writing is still clunky and awkward, and feels like the actors have to chew it before spitting it out...
4)

Agreed 100%, and in most TV/Movies, the agent would have at least fired a shot in the air or something...

I will admit, at first I was thinking that this could be the episode that turned the corner on the way I felt about this show. But even the last minute "ohhh...awwww" moment was not even as revelating as the previous episodes. TPTB had already clued us in on Simon/Lloyd being involved, and we knew a bunch of people died. So.... So What? And everybody who 'knew' that Dominic was gonna be in the back seat of Simon's car before he even go near the door... please raise your hands...(And, I have my hand up BTW)

It's like they (TPTB) have to drag everything out. And by out I mean way out... too far out...

The ep had some good moments, but they didn't seal the deal.

I will give credit to Dominic M./Simon for an excellent spin on a really cheesy pick up line (Basically "Google Me!!!). And, the look on Olivia's face when she walked into the living room was priceless. Oh, and Nicole still looked great even painted up that way!!!

But, the way they completely 'balls' up the 'Schrödinger's Cat' experment. The orignal experiment has nothing to do with the "will" of the cat, as the experiment actually is a radioactive isotope decay that dictates the outcome or fate of the cat. With the idea of an observers perception being actually what is being questioned.THE CAT DOESN"T GET A SAY IN THE MATTER!!!

To say that the cat has a choice of eating a poisoned fish is like trying to rewrite E=MC2....

The episode may have been better than some of the others, IMHO it wasn't good enough for where they should be...

I guess I'm one of the few who liked this episode better than last week's.

Dom was so creepy and awesome! I agree with everyone else that the scene with Mark, Olivia, and Simcoe was the best part. I like Simcoe more and more every episode. Frankly, I think he is the best part of the show.

Well, I gave it another week and am still wondering where they are going with this show. I will keep watching but my interest in the whole story line has dropped almost to zero. I was more interested in seeing the V commercials and the quick reminder of Lost coming back in 2010.

Maybe it was just my perception but the fact that Simon is this suave and irresistible quantum physicist doesn't seem quite right. Last time I saw a world famous physicist in real life, he wasn't anything like Simon!! I guess Simon is like a James Bond, mad scientist type of guy!! I thought Dom did a good job portraying Simon and it makes me more interested in the working relationship between Lloyd and him. In fact, that is part of the problem with this show for me because I begin liking one character and their story and then by the next episode, I am starting to hate them.

So now, I do like Lloyd and thought that Mark has sort of become this guy who is always mad and screaming at people...Dimitri, Olivia, etc. and that we are all just waiting for him to take that first drink again.

The added mystery of how Janice does get pregnant after the surgery is sort of interesting too. At least they tried to humanize the FBI boss in this episode. I really didn't like his character at all and now he almost seems sort of normal.
Live together, Die alone
but in The End, we'll always find each other
and never be Lost again.

Mark is so annoying, I just want to knock him in the head with a hammer. :hammer: Besides him though, the episode was a lot better than it has been. Looks like things could be starting to develop, Simon is awesome.

It may have to do more with him trying to hide his accent, but I noticed it too...

I enjoyed this one thoroughly. Dom was a good creepy bad guy. Simcoe is a nice conflicted bad guy. We finally got to see Charley/Dylan's flash forward. I still want to think Mark and Olivia can fix their marriage but it's looking worse and worse.

Overall, a nice episode for Halloween.
I still don't know what it all meant, but we sure did have some good times along the way . . .who could ask for more?

I agree Dom is totally creepy, but wicked sweet

But I am so ANGRY at Mark for being such a jerk to Olivia :cursing:
I think the flashforwards will happen, and there is nothing they can do to stop it :|
