Glee's Final Season?

Glee Discussion: "Final Season?"
Image
It has been confirmed that Glee will have up to three seasons, however does this limit the show to a three season run? Last season all the characters were Sophomores, thus season 2 they are all Junior. Next season they will no doubt graduate, except for possibly Brit. So what happens next? They can't all go to the same college, that would be a tad unrealistic. I suppose that they could focus on the scattered lives of the glee cast, but that would get a little annoying. That is why I think that season 3 will be the final season of the show. Also, I was reading the actors contracts state that they are already signed up for up to three Glee movies in the future. Would they focus on the lives of the Glee cast after high school? I have been fretting over this concept for a long time and I thought I would open the discussion up to STV Gleeks: Please let me know what your thoughts are on this issue

:hmm:
I can't imagine them stopping the show after only three seasons. It is so popular and a big money maker. Business-wise, they will think of something.

They could bring in new, young people who will eventually replace the old cast if there was a 4th season. I can't imagine that though.

They could restrict seasons so they're not a school year's length?

honestly, that is the most realistic possibility
I would hate to have an ALL new cast.
In fact, they could have a whole season about their post-high school summer

What are some more ideas?
Do you guys like the idea of a Glee movie or movies?

While there's no reason Glee movies wouldn't work, I'd prefer they stick with a show. It's more Glee time :) 20 42min eps > 2hr film

I like the idea of restricting. I am against TV show movies.
OT
A Wicked movie in my mind would have to be with the original Broadway Cast

I never saw Wicked :( I wish I would've.
But my sister was in England and absolutely loved it, so I love it too :D

Wicked is phenomenal. Would love a movie with Chenzel   Or Alexia Khadime as Elphaba :w00t:

Feel free to create a thread in the Movies section if you want to discuss this further, it's a little off topic here ;)

I dunno, I think the idea of having an entirely new cast show up every few years is a pretty bad one, so hopefully, the heads behind the show will realize that...
I'd much rather they just have each season be one school semester.

Off-Topic
VERY surprised to see so many Losties here! :w00t:

If they do it right, it could work. I'm not sold on it simply because they have enough continuity issues storyline wise with the cast members they already have IMO. It's hit or miss with new characters, so it will depend on the characters.

I dunno, but the Korean war only lasted three years, but MASH ran for 11... While I doubt TPTB would string it out that long, I can see them "being creative" with pulling a few tricks to keep things moving along...

And... BTW, I am getting really tired of the Chris Colfer/Coffee commercial... I am 95% sure that it is his voice, and while I may be wrong that it's him... I am really getting tired of it...

My only gripe with Glee is that it does feel more like 'The Kurt Show' than Glee anymore....
