this may end up in the spoiler section or the book section, but hey...

what books do you think are ripe for a movie makeover ??

or maybe not ripe, what books would you love to see made into a film ?

here's a few...

the sacred art of stealing - christopher brookmyre ...like spleen said...best robbery ever...

the dark tower - stephen king... i know CC & DL have it optioned...

marching powder - rusty young..actually sack that...there's already one in the works...damn it

cloud atlas - david mitchell - if Darren Aronofsky directed this that would perfect...mental..but perfect

survivor - chuck palanuick...the book is better than fight club imho

generation x - douglas copeland...

....

any more you peeps can think of ??

A book that I have read and loved was The Cure. It is being turned into a movie that is to be released tomorrow.

I work for a marketing company that is working on this campaign and looking at the website, I think this is a great choice of a book / movie combination.

It is based on a true story about a father who went to great lengths to find a cure for his dying children. The journey that is portrayed is very inspirational and I cannot wait to see it on the big screen.

In my opinion some of the best movies are based on books, and this will be another spectacular release.

Here is a link with trailers:

My favorite book. I read somewhere that this was being made into a movie in 2001, but because of September 11th, it was stopped due to the plane section of the book.
