Great lists everybody, But i see an obvious lack in foreign films, And beleive me your all missing some real masterpieces

It's not like your list is over-run with foriegn cinema :P .

Really though, Seven Samurai is Akira Kurosawa's best film. I love Ran quite a lot too, though.

City of God is another obvious choice for foreign film, as is Let the Right One In.

Sorry, I'm gloating. It's just that most foreign films don't have the resources to deliver as good a film as American ones, despite generally having a better script.
