heheh, im just realising the full thread title...im sure that not everyone loves the films i've listed, but i felt i needed to rant...
You owe the companies nothing. Less than nothing, you especially don't
owe them any courtesy. They owe you. They have re-arranged the world to
put themselves in front of you. They never asked for your permission,
don't even start asking for theirs.

Im a real Halloween fan, although I like to pretend part 6 and 8 dont exist. But the original is slightly overrated(this film was so sloppily filmed) and Zombies version gets more hate than it deserves. I realy like Zombies Halloween, its different(Im a sucker for Zombies filmstyle, old skool exploitation  ). For me the perfect Halloween would be a combination of the two. Zombies beginning, Annie, her dad the sherif and violence, Carpenters suspense and ofcourse Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie
Ah well, to each its own, right :D

I hate Back to the Future 3.

Have just remembered a few more:

All the Alien films.
All the Saw films.
Raising Arizona... I mean, with the exception of Wild at Heart, I can't stand most stuff with Nicolas Cage. :bored:
The Aviator.

Wish I could hate Titanic, but have never watched it. :|

Totally agree here. Vanilla Sky is such a lame remake... please, people, go and watch the Spanish original.

Solaris (The George Clooney one). I watched it and hated it, but after I looked at some reviews and apparently it was quite well received, so :|

Boy, hate is such a strong word. I guess my list is films that I thought were stupidly over-rated and of poor quality...

Saw [insert any number here]
Hostel [either of them]
RoboCop
The Fast and the Furious series
The Evil Dead (though it's been a while since I saw it)
The Twilight films (though they are good for a laugh)
Old School, Anchorman, and most of Will Ferrell's movies

There are plenty of films that I can acknowledge as good but highly over-rated. Maybe we need a thread for those films too.

Not that I don't have movies I "hate", but I'm here to pass along a great article: Never Hate a Movie. I think it makes a good point.

Awesome article! I totally agree. While I may say "I hated that movie" when I watch something seriously god-awful, I never really mean it. Some movies are absolute crap but they really do show you how not to make a movie, so they are somewhat valuable. If there weren't bad movies, we couldn't really call other films 'good' or 'great.' I'll watch anything, even if I know it got horrible reviews and it known for being terrible. I love movies as an art, so if I'm not willing to take some bad with the good, I'm only hurting myself.

I think my list of films I hate is quite short but here goes:

1) Titanic - DiCaprio/Winslet version - I was bored to tears with this film
2) Ocean's 11 - One of the few films I've fallen asleep through after just 5 mins
3) Lord of the Rings - I expected to enjoy this but after 20 mins I couldn't take anymore
4) I remember what you did last summer - this has to be series Z film, the horror was so predictable it was laughable
5) Star Wars (Original trilogy and latest trilogy) - Impossible. I think I'm the only person who doesn't like any of this saga
6) War of the Worlds - Tom Cruise version. Politest thing I can say is "no comment"
7) Mission Impossible saga with Tom Cruise - ditto my above comment
8) The Others - I was disappointed with this film as Amenabar is one of my favourite directors and I generally like Nicole Kidman but this was a disappointment
9) Australia - Kidman & actor who plays Wolverine in X-Men - a very disappointing film except for the scenery
10) The English Patient - I found the special effects and acting in general very poor.

There are several more, but I can't remember the titles offhand
