Last movie I watched?

2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)

One word. Brilliant. Kubrick's a genius.

You either love this film or hate it. I don't there can be any middle ground here.

A lot of people I talk to don't like it. I guess it's because there' s essentially twenty minutes of total dialouge in the entire film and they find it boring, which is completely understandable. I think, though, that you have to view this film more like a work of art than a traditional film. I've heard that it's easier to understand if you read the book first.

Kubrick is awesome.

The last movie I watched was a Lifetime Movie Network made-for-TV film called Little Girl Lost, a true story about a woman who refuses to believe that her infant daughter actually perished in their apartment fire. It was very touching, especially because it was true, and it had a genuinely happy ending (in real life, too). Plus, it starred Judy Reyes from Scrubs, and I love her.

I also watched Vantage Point on On Demand. One word: Meh.

Indeed. Any favorites? DR. STRANGELOVE? THE SHINING?

I've not seen A CLOCKWORK ORANGE yet, though. I'll have to get that in my Netflix queue.

I saw it the other week. It was a good popcorn film. Good fun. :)

You didn't like a Matt Fox film. :O

BACK TO THE FUTURE will always remain one of the "funnest" movies of all time. Just a really good ride.

And you picked the right half of the picture to watch. As soon as they hit the old west, I'm afraid the film loses it's luster.

Yea, I like 3 the least out of them, and that one was on HBO, so I just kind of stumbled on it.

And you need to see Transformers, I mean what if Shawn or Gus reference it, you wouldn't want to miss the reference would you :) :P ;)

Random thought: I wish HBO would play older movies. Everytime I see anything on it's always movies from the last 5 or so years. Bah.

Heh. :)

I'm thinking it's more likely they'd reference the cartoon show instead of the film, then again...they did throw in a NATIONAL TREASURE reference the other week. :|

I'll get around to seeing it eventually. The thing that's taking me so long is that I've got a problem watching Shia Labeouf in anything.

WTF on you on about?

Nothing in that post makes any sense.

Essentially, you said:

Simp wrote:Tom Cruise was James Bond in GOLDENEYE.
GOLDENEYE was a cartoon.
At some point, Scooby Doo was played by Dracula in his later years.
