Elliott Gould Guest Stars On ‘CSI’

Elliott Gould will appear in the second episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’s upcoming eleventh season.

The Oscar-nominated actor will play a casino mogul. When his casino becomes a crime scene, Gould’s character will cross paths with the CSI team. The episode will reveal some important details about Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger), whose late father Sam Braun (Scott Wilson) was also a casino mogul. “We will find out more about the legacy Sam left Catherine in that episode,” executive producer Carol Mendelsohn explained.

I like Elliott Gould

Guillory Is The New BABE On ‘CSI’

Actress Sienna Guillory has been cast as the new lab tech joining the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation team this fall.

Guillory will play BABE Kacey Monohan—that stands for Ballistics, Arson, Bombs and Explosives technician. “We have just started shooting and the atmosphere is electric,” the actress told Express. “They told me they were going to transform me, so I was hoping for something wacky, like a squirrel tail or maybe a beard.” She added, “It’s just a new hairdo, but I suggest everyone holds on to their haircuts because my character is going to blow fans away, literally. She’s the team’s first full-time bomb tech and the action scenes will be explosive in every sense.”

“I jumped at the chance to work alongside producer Jerry Bruckheimer, Laurence [Fishburne, Dr Ray Langston] and the rest of the cast,” Guillory continued. “It’s a dream come true and the only thing that will top this is if they decide to mould a new spin-off show around me. They’d have to call that CSI: Kettering, though, so it might be a stretch.”

Sounds interesting

I wonder if BABE is a real acryonym. It would be kind of embarrassing to have that as your title/nickname.

Bieber will play Jason McCann, a troubled teen who is faced with a terrible decision regarding his only brother-a decision that leads him into an explosive confrontation with the CSIs. It is the beginning of an emotional story that will conclude later in the season.

Mendelsohn Shares Details About Vassey’s Exit

As CSI Files previously reported, Liz Vassey (Wendy Simms) will be leaving CSI: Crime Scene Investigation because her contract option was not picked up for another season. Showrunner Carol Mendelsohn offered a teaser about how the show will explain the character’s exit and what it means for Wendy’s coworker and love interest David Hodges (Wallace Langham). (Spoilers after the jump!)

Despite the fact that Wendy is leaving, Hodges won’t be going anywhere. “We’re focusing primarily on the core team this season, and I want to bring Hodges more into that core group,” Mendelsohn told Entertainment Weekly. She added that Vassey will return for the second episode of the season, which will wrap up her character’s storyline. “I think fans will be satisfied,” Mendelsohn explained. “She will be able to say goodbye to Hodges, and Hodges will take his anger and heartbreak out on a fellow tech.”

I;m going to miss Liz Vassey. I've always liked seeing her in various shows over the years. She is so beautiful. And a good actress.

Zuiker Returns To ‘CSI’ & Aims To Draw In Viewers

CSI creator Anthony Zuiker has returned to the writers room for CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’s eleventh season, and he has a lot in store for the fans. (Spoilers after the jump!)

Zuiker and the rest of the writing team planned some exciting episodes to start the season. For one storyline, “We have a shark in the pool; kind of like day clubs gone wild,” Zuiker told New York Magazine. The series will also include an episode with a vampire and werewolf convention to take advantage of the current popularity of mythical bloodsuckers. As CSI Files previously reported, the character of black Sqweegel from Zuiker’s digi-novel Level 26: Dark Origins will appear in a “scary as hell episode starring Ann-Margaret” that airs on October 14.

CSI will try luring in even more viewers with the appearance of teen singing sensation Justin Bieber in the season eleven premiere. The 16-year-old had a “very memorable” visit to the set. “We ate cake, skateboarded, sang, and had a few laughs,” Zuiker said. “He did a really good job.” The man behind CSI added, “I think all of his fans are going to follow him to CSI and stay for the whole season.”

Sounds like it should be a good season

Yes I'm glad we'll see more of Hodges too. :)

CSI seems to have a more older audience, having that Bieber kid and a vampire/werewolf episode might atract some new fans you dont even want but it will scare a way the hardcore fans...like me.
The only good news I have heard about CSI is that Hodges will be a bigger part of the team. Maybe Im woried about nothing...but its Justin Bieber :scared:

They really should have changed Bieber's Purdey hair into something more...well, just something different.
I still cant believe they are promoting him like this.

According to TV.com

Episode 5 Cold Blooded
The CSI team investigate the murder of a man whose daughter was killed five years ago, and the bizarre death of a young man who appears to have been killed by a T-Rex.

So we have a shark in ep 2 and a dino in ep 5 O.o

CBS*Thursday, 9 ET/PT*Premiere: Sept. 23 Where they're headed: Fishburne being a star
of the series, it's not much of a spoiler to reveal he doesn't die. But that doesn't mean he won't suffer. The murder attempt "affects (Langston); he loses something very valuable," says executive producer Carol Mendelsohn. "He spends the entire premiere episode in the hospital — he still works on the case, but he's in a lot of pain and doesn't want to take anything for it, it clouds his thinking." And the Langston/Haskell thread runs through the whole season, she says, from hospital to courtroom and beyond. "There is a connection between Nate Haskell and Ray Langston. Are the CSIs smart enough to eventually bring Nate Haskell down? That will be up to Langston to figure out — Bruce Schwartz
