I read all of it, and now I think I have to read it once, and once again, because I couldn't understand the parts where he meets with young Desmond, or Penelope. How the hell could the book exchanged hand to hand to be given back to Daniel?

Yeah, im confused on the time issue. The Constant had 2 time periods. 1996 and 2004. This has like 7 time periods lol.

Hm, I gotta admit that I'm kinda disappointed just by reading this. I expected way more, maybe too much.

Gonna be interesting how this turns out on a screen though.

This is confusing (as I have already said lol) we have:

Young Dan meeting old Des, Old Dan meeting Young Des. Young Dan meeting Young Penny, Old Des meeting Old Dan. Young Dan meeting Young Des, and Old Penny meeting Old Dan

:bored:

Dammit they kill of Dan! Bastards!

I'm very confused too. if Dan is in the 70s during the time of 2008 how does he go and see Des in the hospital? And how in the world does Des end up in the past to give the journal to Dan as a kid?

There always be "more" (on screen) than what we read (on synopsis), so don't be worried. :)

In my experience, these things always sound a lil' bland and lifeless in synopsis form. It should really come to life on-screen.

I'm glad I'm not the only who had trouble getting their head around the time periods O.o :D

The school thing was interesting. So they were fellow classmates? Makes you wonder how long all of the relationships have been managed and directed. Not a lot of mention of anyone but Farady, so it seems like there are some big parts missing. I wonder how they can possibly fit all of this into one hour?

And, as usual, this will just leave me with more questions than it answers.

This is going to be fan-freaking-tastic! I'm upset that Dan's gonna be dying but hey what a hell of a send off. Tonight's episode will make his character one of the MOST significant characters in the history of the island. I'll miss Jeremy Davies such a great actor, but everyone knows anything's possible on Lost. The writers amaze me again

Another mystery bites the dust too, in the form of Des' discharge from the army.

I'm wondering about this too. It sounds like physical, off-island time travel :hmm: Maybe that's why Desmond is miraculous and special. But Dan in 2008? An extension of Desmond's 'specialness' maybe?

I think I'm gonna need to see this on-screen to get a grip on it tbh.

Well, 'The Constant' wouldn't have sounded all that great in a blow-by-blow synopsis form either so yeah, it should be pretty good :D
