Just Encountered Supernatural: The Sixth Sense

Postby AdamDHarris on Mon Mar 07, 2011 11:36 pm

Still trawling my way through the earlier seasons of the show, and just finished the season two episode 'Road Kill.'

For a twist that's been done to death I thought it was actually quite surprising. What did people think of it at the time?
Also the episode before was just weird :P

Roadkill is a good episode, and I didn't actually see the twist coming! I enjoyed it. :)

The episode before it 'Tall Tales' is one of my favorites - funny as hell with a good ending. :)

I thought Roadkill was decent when it first came out but not one that I would have on constant repeat. I actually liked Tall Tales better. It starts a series of bizarre episodes that ended up being awesome in my book. However, Tall tales becomes a bit more focused after you've seen some other episodes like Mystery Spot and Changing Channels.

Agreed, I always link Tall Tales to Mystery Spot and Changing Channels.
I really do miss the Trickster/Gabriel

I've done a couple of marathons of what I call "The Trickster Trilogy" :D (I leave out Hammer of the Gods)

i liked roadkill
the twist totally caught me and i thought it was awesome
i loved tall tales
i thought it was hialrious and the trickster was a great villain who went on to become my fave guest star/character and be the monster behind my fave episode
you can't think of tall tales w/out mystery spot or changing channels
