Purgatory has gotten to Dean's head, he's being too hard on Sammy.

With all due respect, from the little we've seen of Purgatory thus far I'd like to see you go through it and not have it get to you just a bit.

Dean's reaction was perfectly justified...he'd done everything he could to figure out a way to bring Sam back and expected Sam would do the same. He had a right to be just a little angry. I think deep down he understands though and that was already showing by the end of the episode. I think both brothers have got issues to work through, which is one of the main cruxes of this season, but unlike recent seasons I think they're being handled better...their reactions were much more reasonable. In recent seasons we've seen emo crap piled on just for the heck of it, this at least seems to be within reason given their circumstances.

I was wondering have any of you guys read the tie-in novels by Christa Faust?

She's exclusively writing 3 Fringe tie-in prequel to season 1 timeline novels with the writers of Fringe. I was just wondering how you guys felt about, or if you enjoyed the Supernatural novels? Thankx to anyone who responds :D

Haven't heard about the Fringe stuff but I've read all of the SPN tie in novels that have been published up to now and have the next two on pre-order at Amazon. :D

Only one of them, Coyote Kiss, was by Christa Faust...it was good, though not my favorite of all the novels. Thus far the novels have pretty much followed the timeline of the show itself and, like the show, I prefer the earlier stuff so the first three novels were my favorites.

That being said, some of the others have also been quite good too. Of the various authors who have written them, Keith R.A. DeCandido has been my favorite by far...love his handling of the characters and the storylines he comes up with.
