Tbh I didn't even know there was this conflict till I read the recaps... I guess I wasn't paying much attention while I watched (Draw Something has become too addictive :P )

Whilst I'm sad for Jorge, I can't say I'm particularly bothered. I found I had to force myself to watch the second half of the season, as opposed to actually enjoying it.

That sucks. Perhaps the writers will do their short story thing, as previous purposed?

Same - while I admire what they tried to do - it just didn't do much for me enough to pull me in soon enough. I did enjoy the show as it went on and got back into it - but perhaps that's too little too late (though I don't exactly have an effect on the nielson ratings anyways)

Shame. Though I do agree that it was more an effort to watch it than anything.

To me I saw something so beautifully familiar on the horizon...the politics, the sleeper agents (project Christmas, cortexiphan subjects, nanites, trained soldiers, fringe science), the female lead being entangled in a family saga that spans across decades of time....I saw all these characters who were unique, abused, and lost, and they just didn't have the time to move to the next phase to develop, as the 13 episode was just a way to get into it. I think 13 episodes is not enough time for a non cable show to bloom.

So I am certainly sad, but understand that this is probably what it took to give Fringe it's final season. I feel the most sad for Sam Neill, I wanted him to have a successful show.

I agree Darth. I think it was probably one show or the other from Bad Robot and I am glad that FOX is giving Fringe the chance to finish up. On the other hand, I really liked Alcatraz and watched it faithfully. I do think it was getting better as far as the story line progressed but with only 13 episodes, it didn't get enough time imo.

I think it was a pretty cool concept and SO much different than all the other new shows that premiered. Unfortunately, Sci-Fi shows haven't been fairing very well lately and it all comes down to ratings. Did Touch have good ratings? I never watched it but I see it was renewed.

I watched mainly because of Jorge but I like Sam Neill too. I was intrigued with the idea of these inmates each "time traveling" ahead to 2012 and all the mystery/secrets behind it all. Oh well, it's too bad we had to end with Rebecca supposedly dying with no conclusion. Another new show down the drain once again.... :(
