Loved the season premiere! John was so lost without Finch and it was pretty cool how he kept getting the computer(??) to give him more clues for help. Really liked the cool flashbacks with Finch figuring out the system and not using it for his own gains( gambling at casino). Nice to have Ken L. from LOST guest starring in the premiere. He is always funny and it was good that even with Finch missing, John has to carry on alone.

Can't wait for John's road trip to Texas with Carter this week!

I really loved the premiere! Liked the humanistic concepts being hinted at with the machine and Finch's method to test probably with gambling was just genius!

As for the second episode Root was just SO emotionally heavy, but I think she's an intriguing villain taking out 'two face' and wanting peace for her friend, unless of course that story isn't over, if there's some reason she wanted Hannah dead...There were also some more nods to things Dexter-esqu (Last season David Zayas guessed starred and his character related to boats and Miami, but this episode had the actress who played Camilla Figg, sedation with a syringe through the neck, childhood trauma, and a character named Hannah, the name of new character appearing on this weeks episode of Dexter, who I suspect to be a feminine fatal).

It was great that Reese is keeping Bear and I loved that Fusco had to watch him. :) Nice shout out to Fringe with "Bishop", Texas. It's nice to Reese and Carter work more closely together. And the whole story line about the machine is intriguing. (how the heck do you "free" the machine???)

But it looks like Root is taking a back seat for a while, wonder what else will come up in the mean time???

Loving this season so far, it's amazing how they are continueing to make each episode as strong or stronger than the previous episode.

I found it adorable how lost Reese was without Finch. They are back together at last. :)

Looking forward to Thursday, can't wait!

Second episode was excellent! I thought it was pretty neat how we all assume the little lost girl was Root all along and then we get that huge twist of Root really being the friend. They even make the picture look a lot like a young Root.

I had to laugh at them playing Oregon Trail since my kids played that in grade school. I guess I should have figured it out too since the friend was really bad at playing it but then we are shown at the end how good Root already was with a computer.

I'm sure that we will once again see Root at some point and I'm anxious to hear more about how she sought out Finch and the computer. If anything, this whole story line has brought all of our characters much closer together as a team whether they know it or not. Also love the introduction of Bear too! John needs to have someone in his life and I think this is all he can handle right now!
