A Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy - It just wasn't funny, I think it's probably aged really badly.

I am Legend - ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ, a book with just one character is very dull, gaveup halfway through.

Neuromancer - Was really looking forward to this one, but the way it was written with the author missing out words really really really **** me off, I'm sure it's excellent, but I wanted to chuck it across the room.

Catcher in the Rye - Just couldn't get into it.

Theres probably loads more.

I really liked the Time Travelers Wife and Lord of the Rings tho, can't believe theres people that don't like them. I've read LOTR about 4-5 times, and I first read it long before the films came out. My granparents got me the hobbit for xmas and i loved it, so asked for LOTR, I first read that one when I was 11.

And eternity in an hour.

Come on! It was bloody awful.

I keep meaning to give the original radio series a go, but never get round to it.

:scared: We must've read different books.

It's genius. (You're talking to a hardcore Douglas Adams devotee here.) Did you read the whole series or just the first book?

I read the first book, well most of it, I couldn't stomach it anymore.

Nothing is worse than a comedy thats not actually funny.

As you by now know, I do have to agree with Spleen. I didn't find it funny.

The only thing that made me laugh was in book 2 or 3 where he asks the Doors to shut up, then they do, but talk anyway.

Sorry Bells. But I don't think I'll be getting round to Books 4/5 any time soon

Well, you're entitled to your opinions -- even if they're WRONG! :PP

I think Brit comedy is something people either love or hate.

I'm British so I love Brit comedy, it just has to be done well.

 I didn't know where Spleen was from. YOU, of course, I knew.

Anyway, I guess it's just a matter of you like it or you don't!

Hunted by PC & Kristen Cast. OMG. Disappointment.. and then there's Blood Promise which was like watching the S3 ending of Buffy. Somewhat infuriating.
