I don't get as much time to read as I would like :(

My favourites are:
The Lord of the Rings trilogy
Harry Potter series
The DaVinci Code

I used to really like Steven King (Salem's Lot and Insomnia especially) but I read that many that it was too easy to spot the similarities in his books (I hate when that happens but it took awhile with his books).

I also enjoy reading about spying, espionage and the cold war.

I'm a Stephen King fan, too -- definitely. And John Saul. And my guilty pleasure is the Flowers In the Attic series, by VC Andrews.

Insomnia and SL were great books -- but I always find that his endings are kind of weak.

Virginia Andrews - I remember reading her as a teenager. :D

There are scary similarities between her books and the Fritzel case in Austria. Some of those poor children had never even seen daylight. :(

I pretty much love all books! I love legal and political books especially- they get me thinking!

I don't read as much as I used to though- I get everything on audiobook and put it on my iPod to listen to at work and when I'm commuting!

All of the Paulo Coelho books I've read so far (namely The Alchemist)
All of the Mitch Albom books I've read so far (namely Five People You Meet In Heaven)
Michael Crichton novels (most recently read "Next" and couldn't put it down!)
O.R. Melling's Faerie Chronicles (as a child mostly, but still have a soft spot for them)
Lord of the Rings
Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins
basically, any book I've read I've enjoyed. I don't finish them if I don't like them.
