My god, woman! 52 books in 6 months!!!! What!?! You're not a robot by chance, are you? Or perhaps have eidetic memory to just quickly scan pages in a matter of seconds? That's 2 books a week!? Wow. I believe that's the same rate at which computer data storage mainframes are being encoded with information. Let me check... yup, roughly 2 books a week. Wow, that's amazing. You must've constantly had a book in your hand. Or maybe you're just an exceptionally fast reader? I like to read about 1 hour a night before bed to help me relax. I finish a book in about 3 weeks that way, and that's in addition to reading articles in magazines and online all the time.

Considering how much you read, it must be fun in terms of the imagination process of the world being described in the pages. That's so many books you read having so many characters and places to imagine. I know it's that way for me; imagining what the characters look like and the world they exist in. Every time I start a fictional narrative I always start off by getting an actors face in mind as what this character looks like.

Instead of watching tv or something, I just picked up a book. And yeah, I do read fast. And ever since I started reading on my iPad(adjusting the font and the size), I read even faster.
I must say the fastness of my reading really depends on the writer though. War and Peace was a slow read but The Girl on the Train was a fast read.

I've heard the "The 100" books aren't that good, what is you opinion on these? I certainly love the TV series!

I too am not currently reading much of anything, except have been combing back through a few chapters of A Dance with Dragons. I do have a list with a few books, some of which I would like to hopefully get to before Summer ends...

Arcadia: A Novel - Iain Pears
The Girl From Everywhere - Heidi Heilig
A Green and Ancient Light - Frederic
The Madman's Daughter - Megan Shepherd
Marrow Island - Alexis M. Smith
Mort(e) - Robert Repino
Marina - Carlos Ruiz Zafon
Slade House - David Mitchell

Future Releases Most Anticipated

The Book(s) of Dust - Philip Pullman
Winds of Winter - George RR Martin (I mean, who isn't!)
Dereliction - Rebecca Stott
The She-Wolves of Winterfell (Novella/Dunk and the Egg) - George RR Martin

So unfortunately I went hunting for fall releases and have found 3 more books to add to my list!

Good Morning, Midnight: A Novel - Lily Brooks-Dalton. Is a story about an astronuat trying to home to Earth from Jupiter Space Mission contrasted with a lonely scientist in the Arctic and they both are said to be "outsiders". (Aug)

A Gentleman in Moscow: A Novel - Amor Towles - A philosophical novel about a Russian guy who ends up hiding and living in a luxury hotel across the street from the Kremlin in the 1920's...(Sept)

Summerlong - Peter S. Beagle - From the author of The Last Unicorn comes a bittersweet tale about a waitress that changes the weather when she comes to Garden Island. It's suppose to be about passion, enchantment, and fate! (The book cover is beautifully intriguing too!) (Sept)

Some of these sound better than some of the other novels I have listed, so I may have re-arrange my reading priorities!

Sorry, meant to edit my last post!

How do you like it??? I thought it was good, but was so disappointed with the TV adaptation! Speaking of Stephen King, I haven't read the Bill Hodges Trilogy yet either, but I think I'll wait to next summer before I get around to those!

Any body read Mr. Mercedes, Finders Keepers, and End of Watch? They are also adapting this to the TV screen!
