I don't know which goal was more beautiful...Messi's or Villa's.

Yeah...I think I like Villa's better also. Messi's was an instinctive strike. Villa's was more calculated...He put it just out of Van Der Sar's reach.

You have to admit though, Villa was **** the 2nd half of the season.
What a football lesson that was tonight though, fantastic - best team in the world, with the best player in the world!

I know right!! :( I wanted 3-1 with Villa to score anytime :( But I had to go for him as first goalscorer cos I couldn't figure how how to do it differently

Yeah, but he's had a great 12 months overall, though. :D

Barcelona totally outclassed Manchester United. It just goes to show how much better Barca is than any other club in the world. Man U has a great defense, and Barca totally destroyed them. Barca is fantastic as ball control. What other club could keep the ball 70% of the time over Man U? They are just awesome inside the penalty area, too..such control and vision. It truly is beautiful.

ah well...t'was to be expected really...i dont think there's currently a team on planet earth that could handle barca in that form...

shame pedro's & villas goals could have been avoided...evra at fault for both...losing the ball in your own penalty area is unforgivable...

still, winning the league & getting to the european cup final without a midfield to speak off aint bad...

no shame in being 2nd to the catalans...they could easily win the next 4/5 european cups...just too damn good...
You owe the companies nothing. Less than nothing, you especially don't
owe them any courtesy. They owe you. They have re-arranged the world to
put themselves in front of you. They never asked for your permission,
don't even start asking for theirs.

if anyone here was managing a team playing barca...how would you stop them? ( within the rules of the game, that is...shooting xavi & messi isnt on )

is mourinho's 3 man midfield to hassel & disrupt them an option? would you even play a flat back 4? barca dont really play with a recognised forward, is there any real need for 2 centre backs?

all answers sent to mr a ferguson - old trafford - manchester

Well, I persoanlly don't think it matters what you play, if Barca are playing in full flow they will hammer any team.
If they aren't right on form, the best to play is a 5 - 4 - 1 with, that '1' or a 4 - 1 - 5 - 0 like Madrid played, employing, what I believe to be, dirty tactics, but you can only hope that Barca are off form a little bit.

What you need to do as well (especially if they are playing they best/near their best), which is impossible, is shut them down straight away for 90 minutes, maybe even 120. 45 minutes in do-able, but not a full game.
