So, in the end. . .

Juliet kissed Sawyer bye and died.

Jack kissed Kate bye and died.

Then Kate and Claire flew off into the sunset holding hands to go raise Aaron together.

Gotta say, didn't see that one coming. ;)

But honestly, after the vending machine sequence, I hardly paid attention at all I was so pleased - well worth the price of admission!

chris_s wrote:A closet Jacket shipper is OK. I have moments of being a closet Skater. On the Juliet mom possibility, I said it before on this forum last fall or summer, but there were moments in season 5 when it seemed like there was more history between Jack and Juliet than what we saw on the island. It was almost like thoughts or feelings were bleeding in from other timelines. One is the language in the bathroom scene: "I needed you" (implied that he wasn't there for her). There was also the whole intimacy of the scene - having this scene in the bathroom with one of them naked and neither being uncomfortable with it (like they had been married for years). Another was the moment after Kate told Juliet that she and Jack had been engaged. Juliet looks away for a second before Roger busts into the room, and has an expression like she's been punched in the gut. It's even written on a transcript that I saw that Juliet looks away after Kate delivers that line. A third is the hand to the stomach after the Bernard/Rose scene. People were interpreting that to mean Juliet was pregnant, but if you look at that from a perspective of different timelines or realities, it could be her unconsious acknowledging a child in a different timeline. That's the moment when she's weighing whether to stay in this world with Sawyer or help Jack set off the bomb to return to a world where she has a child.

Reading this after the finale. Woah.
