I think it's a great idea as well. One of the main reasons I think is that it will prevent the stuff we've seen in the past 2 seasons, with one tribe COMPLETELY decimating the other one by one due to a majority situation making things super predictable. Since there are more inter-tribe relations, there will probably be more flip flops. Plus it makes for some interesting social dynamics in the pre-merge situations where you have to be careful with your interactions with the other tribe because it can get you in trouble with your own.

I agree, Nick, I think it's clearly been a big problem the past two years. All groups on one beach opens up so many new dimensions.

It's also a much better idea than Brandon versus Russell. Though, part of me isn't afraid to admit I wouldn't mind seeing a version of the show where they do bring couples on the show - only to split them up into two tribes.
