Now, with 11, I really want Sally Sparrow to be a companion.

My first episode ever, and still a fantastic one.

Today I'll try to get a friend into Doctor Who. To avoid him running in disgust from the show, I'll start with Seasons 5 and 6. If he wants to go back later, we will.

EDIT: Oh, and I'm planning to show him Season 5, episodes 1 to 3, then the Forest of the Dead two parter, and then continue, just to catch him up with River Song. What do you think?

Tomorrow. He was already in my house today, we were about to see it, and something came up ¬¬

Saw The Eleventh Hour and The Beast Below today, liked them both. Tomorrow, Victory of the Daleks! Hopefully, not being a Whovian, he won't care as much :P

Oh nice, if he can get through VotD then I think you'll turn him into a fan. Thou saying that, it does have some great character moments in it, and Smith carries the episode the best he can  I wonder how he'll cope with the change in Doc, does he get how the regens work?

He had actually seen Series 1, so that helped a bit. Still, I explained him a bit about regenerations and stuff, especially if we get to The Impossible Astronaut.

We're now at Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone, we'll watch those tomorrow. He liked the Library two parter, and actually asked if a Companion could die (after Donna is "saved"). I said they could, but that was all. But in my mind, there was only one thing:

The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang = Absolutely brilliant. My friend loved them. And even then I feel like the Season 6 premiere is stronger.

Pfft, just start him with Season 4. Donna is epic and S5 is slightly pants :P

Ok it's decent, but S4 FTW! Donna

TPO is awesome but I really felt TBB let it down.

I liked the second part better than RTD's second parts, which got bigger and bigger each time, with more and more deus ex machinas.

I did show him the Library two parter :P
