So as well all know the HALPERT baby was scheduled to be born in Feb. but thanks to the Olympics it will be pushed back to March, thought everyone would be interested to know particularly because that'll make her gestation period more accurate (closer to 10 months like most pregnancies).

Hey Guys,

My name is DestinyFound and i am the Show Expert for The Office (Fivebretz is also a Show Expert for The Office). I will try to create the best experience for all Office fans in this forum. The best way to get a great experience is to have full involvement. So don't be afraid to post and get into the conversation. I can't wait for the next season and enjoy your evening.

How will they explain Steve Carell's departure from The Office? — Lowell
MICKEY: Well, obviously it's still very early, but our mole tells us that one plan reunites Michael with his "soupsnake," Holly, over the course of Carell's final season and then transfers them both back to Nashua. Here's the interesting part: In this scenario, nobody would replace Carell in the cast. Instead, the already large and talented ensemble would step up to fill the void, with Jim and Dwight's back-and-forth taking center stage. But maybe talented British actor Ricky Gervais is available?

this is good news in my opinion... I was not a fan of having a new actor fill michael's place
It just would not be the same

Joey in Montana: Any fun scoop on The Office, since it might be it's last season?
Don't be such a Negative Nellie! And, as a matter of fact, Mr. Carell just gave us (and The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences) a little ultimatum—one that might make fans of The Office quite happy: "If I win the Emmy [for Best Actor in a Comedy], I'll stay. Just want to put that out there." Hmmm, Steve must not think he'll win throwing around such promises so frivolously, but guess what? I think he's just given us the incentive to start a Steve Carell Emmy campaign! (We love you, Jim Parsons, but Michael Scott must prevail!)

this is interesting! clearly he doesn't think he can win, but what if he did

Question: Though I can’t imagine The Office without Michael Scott, I’m more concerned about Holly and Michael getting their much-needed reunion before he bids adieu. Any chance this will happen? —Meaghan
Ausiello: I’d say there’s a very good chance considering the fact that [exclusive scoop alert!] Amy Ryan (a.k.a. Holly) is not only returning to The Office, but will be playing a sizable role in the show’s upcoming seventh season. “We set her return up in the finale, so it would be the biggest [cop-out] of all time if we didn’t [follow through] on it,” says coexec producer and cast member Mindy Kaling. “She’s definitely coming back.”

i love holly and mike together

Based on the spoilers posted today, it looks like it's good to go. Holly and Michael will have plenty of time on screen together, as she's going to now be in about 1/3 of the season. The other stuff revealed is pretty funny too....

Between Jan and Holly and some of the storyline revealed for next season, this next season (and potentially the last season) could be a VERY good one.

I agree. I honestly didn't watch much last season, where as I watched every episode in Season's past. It doesn't help it's on the same time as Fringe, to which my loyalties lie. This probably disappoints any other Scrantonians who may happen to be on the forum, but it's just too good a show when I can catch the Office on Hulu the next day.
