The future

Postby Woongo on Sun Feb 13, 2011 7:10 pm

I wasn't sure where to put this thread, but I found this very interesting website with predictions for the history of the future - of Earth and beyond.
Of course, those are only predictions, but still very interesting (and even scary sometimes) to read.

Yay future........ :|
"He smiles. The plane is gone, finally free of the island. Jack Shephard has done what he came to this place to do. He has found his purpose. He has found love. And been loved. And he has finally found a way to love himself. The bamboo sways across the blue sky. And Jack Shephard's eye closes one final time. He is gone."

Why would tigers go extinct in the next ten years?

One thing that is rather scary (even though I will be dead by then) is that people might become more biological than non-biological (a.k.a "cyborgs"). It just doesn't feel right... They might stop having any emotions. :O

Another interesting thing is that the radiation around Chernobyl will not completely clear for the next 22,000 years. Just wow.
