Movie That Would Make A Great Show

Okay, I'm blatantly stealing this idea from a tweet of Tod VanDerWerff's, but I think it's an awesome one so I'm starting a thread:

Everybody talks about TV shows that should have been movies -- e.g. FlashForward -- but what about movies that should have been TV shows? Here's my pick: The Village. The trick to this game is to find a movie where the world of the movie suggests other stories than the one IN the movie.

In all seriousness though, I think Pirates of the Caribbean would work, if they retained the cast.
