Bran’s fate remains in doubt. Having agreed to become the King’s Hand, Ned leaves Westeros with daughters Sansa and Arya, while Catelyn stays behind to tend to Bran. Jon Snow heads north to join the brotherhood of the Night’s Watch. Tyrion decides to forego the trip south with his family, instead joining Jon in the entourage heading to the Wall. Viserys bides his time in hopes of winning back the throne, while Daenerys focuses her attention on learning how to please her new husband, Drogo.

great episode...i love the sheer scale of the show, and the way it focuses pretty intently on the characters...was cheering when brams would be assassin got his...

shame about lady tho...dutchie yr right those lennisters (spl?) they are as big a bunch of dicks as ive seen on a tv show...which makes pretty good watching...every show needs a nemesis...

was it me or did those dragon eggs make a sound? they're definately gonna open...denys will be in charge of some army when they do...
You owe the companies nothing. Less than nothing, you especially don't
owe them any courtesy. They owe you. They have re-arranged the world to
put themselves in front of you. They never asked for your permission,
don't even start asking for theirs.

Oh yeah, those eggs look like they are going to pop sometimes this season.

I would just like to add this video to show the best moment of the episode.

Turned it off after 15 minutes, bored me half to death! Which is a shame as I really looked forward to this show!

That's the best moment of the episode. I really like Tyrion slapping that idiotic nephew of him.

Just watched the episode, not sure what to think at the moment if I'm honest. If I'd been watching alone I think I would have turned it off too, but watching it with someone else means you try and keep going. The story seems to be overly complicated, whilst oddly being rather predictable at the same time :PP

Well I liked it, even though it has it's truly grusome moments. (not a fan of killing animals, but I understand the choice of writing it in--it's a show about choices, ethics, motivation, and with that comes brutality.)

I think the King and thd the Lancasters (sp?) need to go, except for the midgit, he was truley delightful and insightful--really enjoyed the snence with him and Snow, but perhpas he to has reason to 'befriend' him?

I was glad Dany is starting to suddenly have faith in herself and a will of her own. Can't wait to see why she is SO fanscinated/connected to the dragons...

And the poor butchers son and lady. it was truly sad, but it was interesting how protected the wolves are and how it seems some people are deeply connected with animals/beasts...I hope that is something explored as part of the mythological content and history of the land(s).

I was checking them out before the first episode aired, it's pretty kewl  ...facebooks page also hooks you up to a game in which you choose your path (I ended up on night watch like Jon Snow).
