Not that I don't have movies I "hate", but I'm here to pass along a great article: Never Hate a Movie. I think it makes a good point.

Awesome article! I totally agree. While I may say "I hated that movie" when I watch something seriously god-awful, I never really mean it. Some movies are absolute crap but they really do show you how not to make a movie, so they are somewhat valuable. If there weren't bad movies, we couldn't really call other films 'good' or 'great.' I'll watch anything, even if I know it got horrible reviews and it known for being terrible. I love movies as an art, so if I'm not willing to take some bad with the good, I'm only hurting myself.

I really don't "hate" films, but there are films where I can tell that I wouldn't really appreciate them (Ex: The Twilight Saga, American Pie, ect) or films that leave me severely depressed and I almost wish that I didn't watch them (Ex: Artificial Intelligence, Requiem For a Dream).

I have plenty of films that I love and most other people hate (Ex: Return to Oz, The Jacket, Strictly Ballroom)

But I think every film has something for someone, so I never really enjoy bashing a film just because I didn't like it...I would much rather talk about films I like with other people who liked them too, than to make other people feel bad about films that maybe for one reason or another I don't. I agree with G-man, films are art and so I tend to have an open towards it. (and this post is a complete contradiction!)

I don't know if *everyone* loves it, but Step Brothers is super trash to me. Don't think I chuckled once. Which is bad if you're a comedy.
